Guys, I've been searching some sites about her leaving. And I expected something bad, but it got worse. It was not a stupid fight. That involved serious stuff, like lawyers and police cases, and it was all no joke. I was really an intensive break up.
Alyssa said the set situations became more tense each day. She could barely speak to Shannen, literally, she could come one day and say "Good morning, Shannen" and Shannen not replying her. And another day Shannen coming, "Good morning Alyssa" and Alyssa not replying. The crew said they clearly seen that either Shannen or Alyssa had to leave, and Holly was not easy too. She was causing big problems after Shannen left.
It is told that Shannen came to the producers and asked in a good way to leave the show, gracefully, but both Paramount and Aaron Spelling threatened her "No, we will sue you".
Then she made some sort of revolt, and flew to Canada to shoot another movie, while she still had to direct the season 3 finale.
Holly said that Shannen sometimes came and looked at the scene and said "Alright, so what can we fix here ?".
She also mentioned that there were days everything was so stressful, they could barely shoot.
And Shannen says that Alyssa went to the producers and gave an ultimatum to pick either her or Shannen. But Alyssa says that she would never do that. But Alyssa pissed off Shannen after she fell in lust with Brian Krause. And Shannen was all about controlling the show. She was very talented and focused to what they were doing, and if there was someone who wasn't and was bored with that, Shannen wouldn't keep that person OK.
Before I searched the interviews, I was convinced that Shannen was the evil girl of this scene, but not. I found out that Alyssa had a lot to do with that, not that she was just a rival, but her attitudes were not good too. And Holly was also no saint.
After I read the interviews, I felt that Shannen was someone who wanted to work in her ways, and was agitated to work, and dynamic. But Alyssa did not take the work so seriously and only looked at the show as some sort of time pass, without doing actual work.
At the end, the producers picked Alyssa because:
- The staff and the crew liked her more than Shannen, not that they liked her so much, or Holly.
- 90210 survived well after Shannen's left.
But both Alyssa and Shannen had exactly the same fame and popularity.
I, now, personally think that with all that was happening, the show would simply not continue...They were not going to survive looking at each other. And they definitely didn't. Alyssa never spoke to Shannen after their last shooting.
And after Shannen brutally left Charmed, Rose McGowan came in and started some tense problems with Holly. In the beginning of season 5, Rose came red-haired and Holly argued with her "What is the matter with you, it is in the script that you are supposed to have black hair" and Rose replied "Oh drop dead you only have a Eskimo's beauty".
But honestly, I never expected all 3 of them causing big problems on the set, and it is not as entertaining as it sounds, there were huge, horrible (as in, you would feel bad even to watch the video) fights between all of them.
If Shannen was as bad as the tabloids say, no one in their decent mind would ask her to work in a new show again.
For me, there is a lot more than just fights between them on the set. Such horrible stories...
I almost forgot, if you know anything about it, could you please post it here.
But if you post something from another website, be sure to post a link back to their website.
