I like it too The layout style is similar to your previous ones. But this new colour is more...misterious I like the brush effects on your banner I also like your Bg image and your head/base images... But looking at the forum...i dunno, it's looks somehow...dry, if you know what I mean ? It is lacking colour variety...to give the board more life and attraction Your on/off icons are a bit strange, cos they have a huge widht...and they are colourless Oh, and I see you still have default smileys

Thanks. Hmm, what do you suppose I do about the on/off icons and the color variety? (already working on the smileys. They just take forever so it won't be until this weekend).

Really ? My smileys take less than 5 minutes... Just make a .psd file with all the smileys in it, and just leave it uncoloured. Then whenever ou wanna make smileys, all you have to do is colour that file and save the smileys Oh, and as for on off icons...maybe pics of the cast. But make them a max size of 45X40 px

How do you put all the smileys in one .psd file?

just make layers with only the face of the smileys. then for bg, make a layer with the colour you want the smileys to have. and above the bg layer, make one layer with the smiley's border. Then hide all the layers except the bg and the border. then unhide 1 of the faces, and save for web > .gif file. then hide that face and unhide another one, then save for web > .gif file. and keep doing that to all of the others. As for the animated ones, you need to make new .psd files, to use in ImageReady

Alright, thanks. I think it took me so long last time was because I tried to take the default ProBoards smileys, open them in Photoshop, then change the color (one by one) to a gradient (and because there isn't really a way to do something like that with the gradient tool, I had to use the brush )

Unless you erase all the colours of the smileys' "bodies" and add a background layer with the grad

That definitely helped. I made all the smileys in the time it took to make one of the animated ones last time, but this time, when I tried saving the animated ones, they came out crappy quality. Example: It's supposed to look like one of these:

Either you saved it to use only a few colors (which i highly doubt) or... You made that smile out of a .gif file and saved it, instead of copying all the layers to a new file...

They look like Charmed Skins' smileys... that blue doesn't really match the blue in your forum...
