I know some people may say that animal testing is wrong or inhumane, but put it this way. If a member of your family, or your friend, or your boyfriend/girlfriend became extremely ill and the medicines that were used to treat them were tested on animals first, but they saved their life, what would you say then? Is it right or wrong to test things on animals first?

I'm not sure.
Pros: More cures and treatments can be found, helping people better and other good things can be released Cons: Animals are put at risk, and if they die from this, the chances of my animals becoming endangered and extinct go up

I also agree with CharmedOne92, and do not forget in the Cons, that animals have feelings and rights too. And I kinda do not know what I would do, but seeing how stressed my family is, I think the people arround me would go with the animal tests, although they would all feel bad about it.

I don't think it's right. If they need to test on animals, they could at least let them live.

I don't think it's right. If they need to test on animals, they could at least let them live. The big problem is, when you test a product, you never know if it will kill or not, or even cause a very bad desiese... The animals shouldn't be tested on. Imagine a product goes well in an animal, It can go bad on a human being. That is a huge risk. The best test subjects would be perpetual prisoners volunteers...

I agree with cb even if torturing animals will help human kind its incorrect tests must be done in humans to have secure results like cb said the best ones are prisoners for life who volunteer
